Here at Foster Photography we make it our mission to give back to the community that we call home. In the state of Tennessee there are approximately 8,000 Children in foster care at any given time. Meanwhile there are only around 4,000 available foster families. Many children who don't have a placement end up in group homes or mental health facilities. School age children in foster care are 50% less likely to graduate from high school. Our owner works with a network of photographers in the Knoxville and surrounding areas to provided free senior photography sessions to young adults in foster care graduating from high school. For these young people graduation is a huge accomplishment that deserves to be praised and rewarded.
